Rachel Leah Jones is an independent director/producer born in Berkeley, California. After growing up in Israel, she returned to the United States where she completed her BA in Race, Class and Gender Studies, Film and Photography at Evergreen College in Olympia, Washington. She completed her MFA in Media Arts Production at the City University of New York. Aside from working on numerous documentaries in Israel/Palestine, she also worked with the Alternative Information Center (AIC) in Jerusalem--a joint Palestinian/Israeli organization that disseminates critical information and progressive analysis on Israeli society, Palestinian society, and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and the public radio/tv program Democracy Now!. 500 DUNAM ON THE M00N is Jones' directorial debut.

Philippe Bellaiche is a cinematographer born in Paris. Prior to completing his studies at the Ecole National Superieur Louis Lumiere, he completed an MA in Epistemology and Logic at the Sorbonne. In addition to working as a cinematographer on a variety of fiction and documentary projects, he has taught in the Film Departments at Tel Aviv University, Camera Obscura (Tel Aviv), and Sam Spiegel (Jerusalem). His credits include: Raging Dove by Duke Dror; Circumcision, by Nurith Aviv; My Enemy, My Friend: the Life of Uri Avneri, by Yair Lev; Forget Baghdad, by Samir; A Day in September, by Kevin MacDonald; Tapouz, by Amos Gitai; Paulus Mystery, by Abraham Segal; and Route 181 by Eyal Sivan and Michel Khleifi, among others.
Dahna Abourahme is a media artist and activist born in Amman. After immigrating to the United States with her family, she completed her BS in Humanities and International Affairs at Georgetown University. She completed her MFA in Media Studies at the New School for Social Research in New York, where she specialized in audio design. In addition to producing/directing short experimental pieces, she works with children as an audio-video instructor in both New York and Palestine. Her credits include: Water, Burning Wood, and Sand; Sifting; Palestinian From Brooklyn; Palestine is Waiting; Travelogue: Palestinian Landscape; and Blue Flickers.
Eyal Sivan is a director/producer born in Haifa. In 1985 Sivan left Israel to settle in Paris. His first film, about Palestinian refugees, won the Cinéma du Réel Prize at the Centre Pompidou in Paris. More recently, he won the Adolf Grimm Gold prize in Germany for his work "The Specialist," inspired by Hannah Arendt's essay "Eichmann in Jerusalem." Sivan is the general director of the Paris-based production company Momento!. Ruben Korenfeld is an editor, producer, and director born in Buenos Aires. Between 1974 and 1980 he lived in Israel and since then has lived and worked in France. ANGELA ALSTON is a director, producer, and editor born in New York. She completed her BA in philosophy at Swarthmore College, Pennsylvania and her MFA in Film and Video Production at the University of Texas at Austin. A member of the board of directors of the Association for Independent Video and Filmmakers, she is currently working with the public radio/tv program Democracy Now!.
Lorena Luciano is a director and editor born in Milan. She completed her BA in Law at the University of Milan, augmenting her legal studies with film studies at UCLA and The New School for Social Research in New York. She has edited numerous documentary features, including her own award winning Dario Foe & Franca Rame: A Nobel for Two.
Sarah Schubart is an editor born in Oakland, California. She received her BA from the University of California at Berkeley in Interdisciplinary Studies. Her film work includes assistant editing on a major studio feature; segment editing for San Francisco's PBS station; and editing an episodic television show for Fox. She currently works as a special effects editor with Tippett Studio in Berkeley, CA.

Yael Lerer is a publisher/activist born in Tel Aviv. She studied in the Interdisciplinary Program for Fostering Excellence at Tel Aviv University where she specialized in Israeli culture, critical theory, women’s studies, and history. She also studied at the American University in Cairo where she completed advanced levels in Egyptian Colloquial Arabic and Modern Literary Arabic. The former assistant to Palestinian philosopher and Member of Knesset Dr. Azmi Bishara, she was also the founding editor of the Hebrew monthly magazine Mitsad Sheni. She has worked extensively as a freelance researcher, writer, editor, and translator for documentary films, newspapers, and academic journals. Currently, she is the founder and general director of Andalus Publishing, an independent press dedicated to the translation of Arabic literature into Hebrew.
JEFFREY YAS is a graphic designer working in New York City. He received his BA in Anthropology with a focus in Archaeology from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He spent several years in Jerusalem working as a field archaeologist while volunteering at the Alternative Information Center. For the past 7 years, Jeff's freelance graphic design business has grown into a full-service print and web design studio.
